UAW strike continues: Trump’s message to workers

Trump is still endorsing one of the biggest strikes in the history of USA, urges workers to keep on pressing for the repeal of Biden’s law on electric vehicles (EVs).

The leading contender for the Republican presidential nomination, former President Donald Trump, has vowed to undo President Joe Biden’s Electric Vehicle (EV) provisions. He is also cautioning American automotive workers about the potential obsolescence of their jobs if Democrats succeed in implementing these mandates. As of today, approximately 34,000 auto employees nationwide have initiated strikes against major manufacturers like General Motors (GM), Ford, and Stellantis. Their primary demands are higher wages to cope with surging inflation and assurances that their jobs won’t be terminated due to Biden’s EV policies.

Trump’s promise to repeal the mandates underscores the ongoing debate about the future of the American automotive industry, the environment, and the economic security of the workers involved in it. The strikes represent a focal point for labor concerns in a time of significant policy shifts in the automotive sector.
