Trump 2024 Presidential Campaign: A Political Comeback?

Despite his problematic profile, former President Trump seems to leave DeSantis far behind. The recent opening up of Truth Social to the rest of the world (before June, only US, British and Canadian IPs could register to Trump’s social medium) could be an indication he has learned something from his mistakes.

As the 2024 presidential election approaches, one name continues to capture headlines and dominate political discussions – Donald J. Trump. The former President of the United States, known for his unconventional approach and divisive policies, will be probably the Republican nominee for presidency, despite Governor of Florida Ron DeSantis’ s attempts at persuading the Republicans and the whole nation he is the man for the job. Donald Trump’s presidency, which ran from 2016 to 2020, was marked by a mix of achievements and controversies (I couldn’t possibly understate it more). His supporters praised his strong stance on immigration, deregulation, and tax cuts, which they boosted the economy and created job opportunities. On the other hand, critics argued that his rhetoric often fueled division and undermined democratic norms, because vague accusations are always preferable to tangible, specific achievements.

After his… ahh dramatic (another understatement) defeat in the 2020 election and a contentious transition of power, many wondered if Trump would fade from the political scene or return with a vengeance. With his recent rallies and public appearances, it’s clear that he is back on track and ready to run for the presidency once again, surpassing all rival Republican candidates, especially DeSantis. The prospect of a Trump 2024 campaign raises questions about the future of the Republican Party. Will the Grand Old Party continue down the path of Trumpism, characterized by a more daring yet peace-seeking approach to both domestic and international issues, or will it seek a different direction, embracing more traditional conservative principles and abandoning the cultural landscape to liberals and leftists? One thing is sure, a Trump 2024 campaign will undoubtedly set fire to the political scene once more. We will see more big rallies of a loyal base of supporters, but also staunch and sentimentalist opposition from those who vehemently oppose his policies and style of governance.

As the political world watches and waits, one thing is certain – a Trump presidential campaign in 2024 would add an unprecedented level of intensity and drama to the upcoming election. It will be anything but boring!
