Child Slain in LA Road Rage

“4-Year-Old Killed in LA Road Rage; Suspects Arrested.”

Authorities in Los Angeles County have identified Gor Adamyan, a 4-year-old boy tragically killed in a recent road rage incident while with his family. The family was en route to buy groceries in Lancaster when another driver cut them off and pursued them. As the family slowed down, the aggressor pulled up beside them on Sierra Highway near East Avenue J, opening fire at their vehicle. Gor, seated in the back, sustained a fatal gunshot wound. Despite immediate aid from witnesses nearby, he succumbed to his injuries.

Lancaster Mayor Rex Parris condemned the act as domestic terrorism and emphasized the severity of the situation. Two suspects, Byron Burkhurt (29) and Alexandria Gentile (27), have been arrested on suspicion of murder. Parris expressed frustration, wishing the suspects had been stopped with force, considering the severity of their actions against a young child.

Parris highlighted the need for justice beyond conventional measures for such heinous crimes. While no additional suspects were being pursued, the incident sparked discussions about the nature of punishment for such violent acts. The tragic loss of young Gor Adamyan in this senseless act of violence has prompted strong reactions from both local authorities and the community.
