Catholic Church bows to LGBTQI+ movement

Pope Francis says gay couples can be blessed AS COUPLES abut not “in a way that resembles wedding”. It’s gay blessing, not gay wedding! Get it? Neither do we.

Pope Francis has officially endorsed the blessing of same-sex couples in a marked departure from Vatican policy, as per a document released by the Vatican’s doctrine office on Monday, December 18th. The document follows up on a letter sent by Francis in October to two conservative cardinals, indicating a willingness to consider such blessings under certain circumstances. The new guidelines reiterate the condition that these blessings should not be confused with the sacrament of marriage, which remains defined as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman.

The document emphasizes that the blessings must be non-liturgical and should not coincide with civil unions or mimic wedding rituals. However, the document also emphasizes that requests for such blessings should not be summarily rejected. Twisting the idea that individuals seeking a connection with God and His love should not face an exhaustive moral evaluation as a prerequisite for receiving blessings, this move signifies a dilution of the original teachings of the Catholic Church.
