BREAKING – Larry Elder ends presidential campaign, endorses Donald Trump

It’s not a surprise and it’s certainly welcome for the Republicans still torn after the House Speaker saga.

Larry Elder, a prominent conservative talk radio host, announced the termination of his 2024 Republican presidential campaign and extended his endorsement to former President Donald Trump. Elder, who previously sought to replace California Governor Gavin Newsom in the unsuccessful 2021 recall effort, cited the “difficult decision” to withdraw from the race and emphasized his support for Trump. He praised Trump’s leadership for advancing conservative, America-first principles and policies. Elder expressed his belief that the time had come to unite behind Trump in order to defeat President Joe Biden. He also hoped that his campaign had shed light on issues he considered important, such as addressing fatherlessness, combatting crime, and challenging the idea that the U.S. is inherently racist. Elder highlighted these topics in his Republican debate appearances.

Notably, Elder is the fourth major candidate to exit the 2024 race, joining Miami Mayor Francis Suarez, former Texas congressman Will Hurd, and businessman Perry Johnson.
